I decided my poor dh needed a way to see what is going on at home...its as simple as that. When he gets in, my mumbled recitation of the facts just doesn't cut it...he is missing out on some of the great stories of our lives. So I will tell some of them here for him to access wherever work may take him! Love you, Honey!!
Yesterday we had Christmas at my dad and moms. A good time was had by all but probably the most magical thing about the whole day was the snow...a true Christmas miracle because the weather lately has been anything but snowy!! Uncle Alix built a bonfire and the girls built a snowman. The boys spent a lot of time pushing snow down each others backs and waiting for the girls to come close enough to "get" which of course they didn't (boys are icky, right ladies!!). The "war" continued during dinner until almost 12 year old Nathan annoyed 10 year old Sarah. She pulled out her most distaining voice and told him "Act your age, not your shoe size!" Nate lifted his foot and told her "I'm a 13.5." The girls never really recovered their momentum after that :0) There's always next year!!
